By age 14, David Thomas emerged as Bermuda’s #1 junior, and maintained that status for four years. He was afforded the opportunity to train in Houston, Texas for the first half of 2007 at the Elite TNT Tennis Academy. From time spent there, he received a scholarship offer to attend Ball State University as a student-athlete. His varsity tennis career at BSU climaxed in a Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament Title in 2011, just prior to graduating
David has represented Bermuda in international competition numerous times over the past decade. Major competitions and tournaments that he has competed in include:

Currently ranked amongst the island’s top players, David has won various local singles, doubles, and mixed doubles tournaments over the past few years. He is a former Bermuda #1 and is also now certified as an ITF Level 1 coach.
