Local junior tennis player David Leader, who is currently attending the Sagemont School and the Bill Adam’s Tennis Academy in Florida had reason to celebrate recently when his varsity team was crowned the 2016 FHSAA Class 1A State Champions.

Congratulations to Coach Steven Browne and the 2016 FHSAA Class 1A State Champion Sagemont Lions! The boys have now won back-to-back state championships, 3rd in the past 4 years and this is their 4th state title overall. Well done gentlemen! Go Lions!
