CHUBB in the Schools Programme 2016\2017
The BLTA is pleased to announce that 
has signed on for yet another year in support of the In the Schools Programme. This programme has been running and supported by CHUBB (formally ACE) for 16 years. The programme is a cornerstone of tennis development in Bermuda.
It is designed to
- The opportunity for children to be introduced to tennis through mini tennis.
- Venue for increasing participation in tennis island wide.
- The contribution to the harmonious and integral educational development of children at school by building motor skills and self-confidence.
- Developing the school teacher’s education in tennis in order to encourage more varied and fun physical education lessons.
- Identifying talented youngsters for follow-up programs.
The BLTA, utilising its Pro Registry Coaches, visits island school and introduces students and teachers to the sport of tennis. Over the years this programme has been responsible for introducing thousands of children to the wonderful sport of tennis.
The BLTA and its Executive would like to thank CHUBB for its continued support of this vital programme to island tennis.
