Yesterday was a great day for local tennis as Day 1 of the BLTA’s 2020 Tennis CUP Match Classic took place at the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium.
In some thrilling tennis matches St Georges took a 3 to 1 lead going into the second day.
The results of day 1 play are as follows:
Trey Mallory def James Finnigan 6-0, 1-6, 6-4.
Dylan Powell def Nick Cooper 6-2, 7-5, 7-6(3).
Gavin Manders def Tariq Simons 6-2, 6-4,
Scott Redmond Bobby Bart i 7-6, 6-0.
