ITF Team Championship: In Bermuda’s second round match, they faced one of the tournament favorites and number 2 seed Bahamas in Group B play.
Bermuda got off to a fast start with Ben Jones coming from a set down to defeating Kofi BOWE 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. Next up for Bermuda was Trey Mallory facing a familiar rival in Jacobi BAIN. These players in their last two meeting have split wins however on this day Jacobi was able to defeat Trey with a score of 4-6 6-2 6-4 in a tough match. The fixture would again come down to the doubles.
The doubles would see Ben Jones and Trey Mallory take on Jacobi Bain and Denali Nottage, Unfortunately, the Bahamas pair proved to be too strong for Bermuda and defeated Bermuda 6-2,6-4 giving the Bahamas, the fixture 2-1.
Bermuda next match is against Curacao.
