ITF Team Championships: Bermuda bounced back today in Group B play to capture their first win of the tournament. Facing Curacao Bermuda’s Nick Cooper saw his first international action in singles against Gianluca Beaujon. In a close match, Gianluca was able to defeat Nick, 6-3,6-4. The second singles match sawTrey Mallory take on Quintan Vanwyk. Trey was able to play to a comfortable victory 6-3, 6-2.
This meant that for the third time the doubles would be the deciding factor. In the doubles Ben Jones and Trey Mallory took on Noah Martis and Gianluca. This Bermuda was able to take the doubles and the fixture with 6-3, 6-4 straight set victory.
