The 2017 Bermuda’s Davis Cup Team travel to Montevideo Uruguay this week to face off against other Caribbean and Latin America nations in the Americas Zone Group III Division at the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club.
This year’s team which sees Steve Bean acting as captain consist of veteran players Jenson Bascome, Gavin Manders, David Thomas and Jevon Whitter.
There are some 9 teams participating including Antigua & Barbuda, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Cuba, Honduras, Jamaica, Panama and Puerto Rico,
Play starts on Monday, June 12th and continues until Friday, June 16th. The draw for opponents will be made on Sunday, June 11th.
