BLTA Winter League 2011/12

The Winter League Committee met July 31^st 2011, to begin discussions for the  Winter League 2011 / 2012 season.

A Captain's Meeting will be held on Monday, August 15^th 2011 at 6.30pm at the offices of the BLTA.  All teams interested in entering Winter League 2011 / 2012 must have at least one representative present at this meeting. (If you or a member of your team is unable to attend this meeting for any reason, please contact me (Helena Bickley) directly at:

Winter League Committee

The Winter League Programme runs annually from October through March and invites participation of all teams that can provide a regular and adequate venue for their fixtures. The League is divided into (at least) two Divisions, for A and B players with play scheduled primarily for Saturdays, but also occasionally Sundays. Registration forms for the season must be submitted to the BLTA office and marked to the attention of the Winter League Committee. 

Fees are payable at the time of registration. 

Registration and season start dates are reflected on our BLTA Calendar of Events available under the Calendar area of the website.

The Season Is over but one more event remains as you know from the email below!

We had 36 players last year;  lets see if we cannot get nearer 50?  With 7 Clubs this should be not too difficult.

Please push/chase your players and match up Pairs if necessary!

Entry Fee of $7 plus a can of balls includes Hamburger , Hot dog , crisps and Soda – Amazing Value. Also good Prizes as some of you will remember last year!

SO>>>> Pls get out as many Pairs as you can. All Pairs are guaranteed two matches.

Please can you tell me who is playing as soon as possible – provisional numbers are helpful but I would like to know pretty much the numbers by Wednesday evening please.

It’s a good day and if this clashes with any tournament, please ensure players are blocking out Saturday for the Pairs Competition at Pomander NEXT Saturday!
